Alaskan RailroadThe hit PBS series Tracks Ahead has a unique appeal for train lovers of all ages. Now broadcast on more than 200 PBS stations across America, Japan, and on the high definition cable services, host Spencer Christian formerly of ABC's Good Morning America presents the best of steam locomotives, railroad stories, model trains and art.

Best of all, an all new, high definition Tracks Ahead 6, was released in January, 2006.  The new 14 program series is available via your local Public TV station, with a formidable lineup of all-new features for railroading novices as well as experts.  The series is available to all PBS stations in high definition and digital 5.1 surround sound, and in regular letterboxed TV.  If you don't see it, contact your local PBS affiliate and ask about the series. 

Georgetown LoopThe newest 14-part magazine-style series explores every aspect of the railroads of the world. You'll see railroad prototypes, models, personalities and lore covering not only the railways and modelers of the past, but of the present and future.

Season 7 is currently under production and is scheduled for release in Fall, 2008.

"We continue to striving for more depth in each episode," said David Baule, executive producer and director of the series. "The stories will intrigue a variety of viewers, while walking a middle line between technical and general information.  Our goal is to capture the excitement and history of railroading.  We continue to explore everything involved with it, from model trains and museums to collectors and authors."

Tracks Ahead Series 1 - 5 was re-released to all Public TV stations in the summer of 2002.  Call your local affiliate to inquire about dates and times.

Tracks Ahead is the proud winner of a 1999 Emmy, given for Outstanding Excellence in the Video Arts, and most recently nominated for a 2006 Emmy for Videography.  The series has also won Gold Awards (1996, 2002), a Silver Award (1999), and a REMI (2005  in the Houston WorldFest video competition.
